* ZOW's real name is "Nakata TAIZO". born in Osaka, Japan - 1965.

Gagaku (Japanese Ancient Court Music) instruments Player.
also Compose, Produce and Recording Engineering.

After searching for my identity of a Japanese in music, I went into the Gagaku World (Japanese Ancient Court Music). Working as an acoustic guitarist and a SR engineer, I came to know various types of music.

Studied Sho and Gaku-biwa under professionals and started activities as a Gagaku player. By using the traditional instruments, I published musical works aimed at New Age / Ambient Music. Made music for the commercial videos, CD-ROMs and the painter's exhibition abroad.

Participated in various sessions and recording. Produced the events of traditional music sponsored by public organizations, cultural corporations and Japan Foundation.

Performed in Japan Arts Festival, Asia-Pacific Festival and the symposiums on local culture of ancient times. I am well known for introducing and spreading Gagaku through the Internet, and is also recommended in the web site of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Now, I works as a stage director in a lot of concerts.
