.. Formed in 2004 as part of a local competition, the soon to be Platnum members used their entry track “Over the Heartache” to showcase their talents to established members of the bassline scene. This proved to be a shrewd move for the trio when they were awarded Bassline Heavens “Tune of the Year Award” in 2006..... Born in Manchester, the hugely talented and enthusiastic nature of members Aaron Evers, Mina Poli and Michelle McKenna combine to create a distinguished bassline mix of R&B and hip hop, ensuring instant recognition from music lovers. This strong core fanbase is demonstrated by the sheer number of YouTube hits for their two biggest selling singles equating to over 15 million views. .... Perhaps best known for their vocals in H “Two” O’s 2008 single, “What’s It Gonna Be” the single reached number 2 in the UK charts where it cemented its place for 3 weeks as well as being the 2nd most played video across the entire MTV network and 2nd most played record on Radio 1..... In the same year, Platnum delighted their rapidly growing fan base with another hugely popular track “Love Shy”, which reached number 12 in the UK charts as well as being in the top 5 TV Airplay Chart and A list at MTV Dance..... There is no doubt that the future of Platnum is one of rapidly growing fan support, culminating in huge sales of singles and albums.
