.. ........ welcome to Longcat space, or longcat's pace... which i have to tell you is pretty slow....... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. all previous weeks improvisations (including all 4 cutups) are in the ..blog.., the ..blanket.. & the ..random..... .... ...... .... Tunes:.... All I Am is a sketch with Matty Heanes, made one day out of a glistening sound from a juno 6, some rhodes and some voice....... in 2007 my brother got married. The Almost Mrs Knight is one of the tunes i wrote for the ceremony.... Don't Think I Won't Leave You, is fairly obvious i guess, written just after i left my girlfriend and feeling like i could leave anything....... Mara's Lullabye is for a beautiful baby girl i know... on the track there are several vocalists: Robbie Knight (me) - the slightly shaky one... Siggi Mwasote - the soulful one... Emma Quinn - the angelic harmony one... & John Sinclair - the ragged deep bassy one... the drums are played by Jarrod Pizzata... everything else is me....... Mapping the Gordian Knot being an improvisation on saturday 29th november with the moog opus 3 and a minimoog impression by the vintage keys sound module x.... "i'll be there with you" i put together may '08 after watching ..this.. inspirational lecture given by norman finkelstein about the israel/palestine conflict... it's his closing words, some drums by darren smart from an improvisation session we did a couple of days ago and my rhodes....... a sketch from january 1st.... thames path is the soundtrack to my film - ..water & improvisation.. that i made between december 2005 & february 2007....... i play ..chess.. & i play in The ..Spanner Jazz Punks......... ..
