Big year ahead: Gulliver this month and three more movies in 2011, including mo’ Po in “Kung Fu Panda 2.” Plus “The Big Year” with Steve Martin and Owen Wilson, and “Bernie” with Matthew McConaughey.

Hold up... I know where you’re head’s at: “MAN, i hope JB gets as much shirtless time as McConaughey.” Yeah, I hear that ALL THE TIME. Well, watch out for Gulliver's Travels in 3D cause you want to get the full experience of my ample upper-man-half bouncing off the screen and coming right atcha!

I'm also in a band called Tenacious D with my longtime friend Kyle Gass (KG, Rage Cage) -- and we are the singers of the tribute to the greatest song in the world. Look us up on the 'Goog.

I could list all the other movies I’ve been in, but then this site would run out of space. Then everyone who came later would know it only as My.com.

Oftentimes I'm walking down the street, whistling a happy tune, and a fan runs up, startles me, but asks an amazing question. Here are some of the common ones (and their answers):

Q: “Does any power duo rock harder than the D?”
A: Some have tried, but my honest answer must be "Helllzz No."

Q: “What does it feel like to be 90-feet tall?”
A: Of course, you’re referring to a special effect in the Hollywood movie, Gulliver’s Travels. But, I’ve only reached my level of success by imagining myself to be that big each and every day. So I know exactly what it feels like to be that tall, and you can too. Close your eyes. Imagine the the ocean as your bathtub, and an octopus as your sponge. Repeat that, one thousand times a day. You will know what it’s like to be big, and mounds of Hollywood cash will follow.

Q: “Have you ever actually tried to fight someone using magic spinning loose change?”
A: Yes. Unspeakable collateral damage.

Q: “What’s the worst fight you ever got into with KG?”
A: He didn’t press record. Even after I told him to "ALWAYS press record." I lost control and punched him in the arm. He winced. It was ugly.

Q: “Which XBOX Live game are you the best at?”
A: All of them.

Q: "Who is the favorite actor you’ve ever worked with?"
A: His name was Wayne. He was a background actor in Shallow Hal - played an ice cream man. He handed me an ice cream with a gleam in his eye few actors even dare attempt. The magic from that glance inspired me to utter the greatest line reading of my life. “I don’t know Mauricio, what do you think?” rolled off my tongue like truffle butter. The scene wound up on the cutting room floor, but Wayne’s performance is burned up here - in my memory.
