Nic - The drummer. Bald. Gets really moody when hes late which is all the time cos he can't tell time.
Mark - Bassist. Total dickhead. Sings too. Nice wrists though. Really nice.
Dean - Guitarist. Means business. Tells shit stories.
Matt - Guitarist. Shaves his own head. Ha ha, I know, daft innit! Once did it badly and ended up with a bald patch, which actually complemented the natural one at the back of his head nicely.
How we got the name...
Well we took the name cos we used to, when practicing, chuck this weird bobbly green ball around the hall that we practice in (if this is Denise reading this, that bit was a lie, there was NO throwing. Honest.). The stupid thing was so bobbly that it'd just bounce and fly all over the place, so we devised a game whereby we'd chuck it at the back wall from the stage and try and get it back on the stage. Easy right?
Well that's how we got the name anyway.
Man that's a dull story.
Influences
We have all sorts of influences.
For example, Mark kinda likes classic rock, which is all a bit weird, he’s just not old enough to remember it!
Dean likes the Spice Girls and that black girl. You know, Kelly Rowland Rat.
Nic likes Beardy Man and Matt doesn’t like anything cos his ears fell off when he was 14 following too much tennis. He says that’s what is was because it also messed his wrist up.
After moving out of Wakefield I kind of felt as though I was "letting the side down" as it were. Consequently I have now created the "Wakefield Music Scene" forum in the hope that it will bring all Wakefield's live music lovers together in one happy place! for years I have thought it would be handy to have one gig guide for easy reference, along with resources for musicians, as well as being a nice place to chat to one another.
Thanks to everyone who turned up to support us at the Snooty the other night. Great crowd, good performance. See you at the next gig. Bring ya mates along! GBF x
Do you want to come to WAYNESTOCK IV but can't get there? Did you want to buy a ticket but didn't get one before the gig sold out? Well, you can still watch the gig as it will be streamed LIVE over the internet in High Definition*! For free!!
To watch, all you have to do is visit http://www.snootyfoxlive.com on Saturday August 15th and then click on the big red fox on the left hand side of the page. The first band is on at 16:00. The live streaming should certainly begin at 20:00 but we are attempting to start it from 16:00 so people can view all the bands.
Proposed stage times (subject to change)
22:00 HEAVEN'S BASEMENT
(40min break)
20:50 DARK ENTITY
20:05 INAMBA
