Abbie's sparkly personality, rhythmic fiddling, and fast footwork has left an impression on the Boston Celtic scene. Abbie started fiddle at the age of 9 under the tutelage of Hanneke Cassel. She has been instructed by the likes of Buddy MacMaster, Jerry Holland, Stan Chapman and Alasdair Fraser. Abbie also is becoming a talented bodhrán player, having played since January 2005, under the instruction of Matt Heaton. .. .. Abbie also is an experienced dancer, who has been dancing since the age of four. She blends Highland Dance and Cape Breton step dance with clogging, sean-nos, and Irish step dancing to create a unique style. .. .. Abbie is currently living in Newcastle, completing a Masters in Music at Newcastle University.
