What's Good Music is a company encomapssing everything from management of artists, producers and songwriters to consulting on A&R, marketing, promotion and beyond. What's Good Music was set up in 2005 by Marc Sheinman after working with major and independent record labels and management companies for over 5 years.

Working at labels such as S2 Records, EPIC & Columbia then moving to Sony Music UK & International Divisions he worked on artists across the board such as Jamiroquai, The Coral, Lemar and Toploader to name a few. This gave him much experience and understanding in how the industry works from many different angles.

With a passion for music and working with established and new artists, he felt the time and climate was right to officially set up What's Good Music. Starting as management for leading hip hop artist Yungun, consulting to publishing company AMI Media/Sony ATV in their A&R department and working with a new independent label Silent Soundz.

In 2006, What's Good Music soon started to work with the incredible singer/songwriter Bridgette Amofah which has been developing well for 2007.

---

Soon, consultancies also started with leading mobile company Pocket Group on their download content and joining forces with the leading jazz label Dune Music on the award winning artist Soweto Kinch on his latest release A Life In The Day Of B19: Tales Of The Towerblock.

Alongside this work, Marc soon joined forces with like-minded individual Jon Bailey to set up Mum's The Word Music group. They soon signed up hotly tipped producers and songwriters The Part-Time Heroes and legendary UK DJs/Producers The Nextmen. As a side project, Mums The Word Records was set up as an outlet for certain releases which succesfully kicked of in October with the release of The Part-Time Heroes first release the 'Realise' EP to much critical acclaim.

It's very important that with all the acts, there is a very hands on approach. This has led to WGM being involved in promoting releases, live shows and radio plugging as well as the business. Things are looking great for 2007 with releases from all acts on both rosters and some other very exciting projects in the pipeline
