If you’re reading this, chances are good that you’ve already seen Chris Nolan’s final film in his Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises. Chances are also good that if you’re a human being who is alive in 2012, you’ve heard Carly Rae Jepsen’s catchy-as-hell song “Call Me Maybe.” With me so far? Good. Then I’m gonna go ahead and say that chances are exponentially good that you’ll like “Batman Maybe,” a parody music video directed by Wesley Freitas that combines the two in a pretty entertaining way. Check it out (via Topless Robot) below!

There have been hundreds of “Call Me Maybe” parodies released already, but I really like how specific this one is. The scene in The Dark Knight Rises in which John Blake (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) reveals that he’s discovered Bruce Wayne’s secret identity is one of the film’s best scenes, so I enjoyed that these filmmakers chose to pick that moment as the time Blake would break into song and call Wayne out in a more musical way. Plus, anything that involves a dance party with Bane on the drums earns instant cool points just for that.

On a more serious note, Carly Rae has a new album coming out called Kiss, which drops on September 18th, 2012. Hopefully she can come up with something just as catchy as “Call Me Maybe” so we can have that stuck in our heads until Christmas. What did you think of “Batman Maybe”? Let us know in the comments!
