If you’re lucky enough to be familiar with Emeli Sande’s music, then you know that she’s one of the hottest up-and-coming soul and R&B singers around. She was selected as one of the performers for the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics, and to celebrate the occasion, she made us an exclusive Gold Medal playlist!

That’s right, this 24-year-old Scottish songstress was handpicked by Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle to be the only female performing at the opening ceremony. But before she took the stage, we had Sande make you a playlist of artists and songs that would win her own musical olympics, which you an check out here.

Oh and if you want a quick introduction to Sande, check the OneTwoWatch video we made with her back in April. She may no longer be the U.K.’s biggest secret, but with such a powerful and unique voice, we knew she wouldn’t stay under the radar for very long!
    .
UPDATE: Sande performed “Abide With Me” at the opening as a tribute to the victims of the 7/7 terrorist attacks in London that claimed 52 victims, however you may not realize that because this heartfelt moment wasn’t aired in the United States. Instead we were treated to an interview between Ryan Seacrest and Michael Phelps. We couldn’t find it online either, but don’t worry, we’ll keep searching!
