Musical legend Van Morrison has announced that not only is he returning to his longtime label Blue Note but he will also be releasing a new album in October which was produced by Morrison and recorded in his hometown of Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Circa Survive – Violent Waves (Self-Released, August 28)

Prog-punk icons Circa Survive have officially left the major-label system and will self-release their fourth full length, Violent Waves for $5. You can pre-order the album from the band’s official site and their first single “Suitcase” will be made available as a free download and stream.
