by Dan Hyman May 27, 2010 at 2:50 PM

The Black Keys never struck us as a band that would enjoy doing the late-night rounds, but these days there’s not a better place to play on television than Jimmy Fallon. Our favorite garage-blues duo chugged through a spine-tingling version of “Howlin’ For You” on Late Night which, of course, is off their newest release, Brothers. Check out their performance below.

Every time Justin Bieber does his patented hair twirl, we can’t help but think he learned this from somewhere. Ahh yes, there once was a group of teenage boys who had long hair and had girls breaking down metal barriers to touch them. That group was Hanson. It has been a while since these three prepubescent boys from Oklahoma stole the hearts of tweenage girls everywhere with nonsensical words like “MMMBop.”

by Emily Zemler May 27, 2010 at 12:37 PM

Jigga what? Turns out photos leaked this week of Jay-Z and Jack White in the studio. Together. The photos, which have since been pulled from the Internet at the request of the photographer, showed the two music titans working together. The duo had previously confirmed a collaboration on a track called “Ray-Bans,” which White described to GQ in March.

“I just did a record with Jay-Z,” White said at the time. “We did a song together a few weeks ago. It was incredible… I played him something that I’ve been kicking around for a while and he immediately came out with words for it. It’s unbelievable-sounding.”
