Dopo aver suonato heavy metal dal 1978 al 1995 i VANEXA.., essendo privi di stimoli musicali, si sciolsero, ma l'amicizia tra i componenti della band non fu mai compromessa da questa svolta. A differenza di Roberto "Rob Tyrant" Tiranti.., che intraprese la sua brillante carriera, gli altri membri decisero di non partecipare più in prima persona alla scena HM come musicisti. ..Sergio Pagnacco.. e ..Silvano Bottari.. formarono la band di Heavy Psych "..404 Not Found..". Marco Spinelli.., lo storico singer, è attivo nei locali in giro per l'Italia con la sua band ..Danger Zone.. mentre il chitarrista ..Roberto Merlone.. si è dedicato interamente alla sua passione: la moto... They were a more than welcome addition of the italian hard rock/metal scene. Yet, this debut offering offers more energy and speed than actual accomplishment. ..In 1983 VANEXA released their self-titled debut album.., starting what would become a legendary career for the band. They were one of many promising bands in the New Wave of Heavy Metal movement at the time. Following the success of Vanexa, the band released released their second album ..Back From The Ruins in 1988... The album featured fan-favourites "Midnight Wolves", "Creation", "Hanged Man". This new album contained many tracks that had been written prior to the release of the debut album, but were considered surplus. With songs already shaped on the road well in advance, only two new tracks were written for the album; Hanged Man and Creation. The band adopted a different approach for their ..1994 studio album, titled Against The Sun... This was not a concept album, though it was themed loosely around the idea of social problems. It featured, for the first time in the band's history, synthesized Keyboards and guitars sounds to add textures and layers to the sound.     "I Vanexa sono stati una delle prime band heavy metal italiane, il loro LP omonimo è stato consacrato dalla stampa nazionale come il primo album heavy metal italiano.
    Nati a Savona nel 1979, il loro sound tipicamente anglo-sassone ebbe riscontri anche all’estero dove furono citati da parecchie riviste specializzate come fautori della nuova ondata di heavy metal band fine anni ‘70 primi anni 80. Inoltre parteciparono come headliner al primo festival heavy metal italiano tenutosi a Certaldo in provincia di Firenze il 21 maggio 1983

Dopo aver suonato heavy metal dal 1978 al 1995 i VANEXA, essendo privi di stimoli musicali, si sciolsero, ma l'amicizia tra i componenti della band non fu mai compromessa da questa svolta. A differenza di Roberto “Rob Tyrant” Tiranti, che intraprese la sua brillante carriera, gli altri membri decisero di non partecipare più in prima persona alla scena HM come musicisti. Sergio Pagnacco e Silvano Bottari formarono la band di Heavy Psych “404 Not Found”. Marco Spinelli, lo storico singer, è attivo nei locali in giro per l'Italia con la sua band Danger Zone mentre il chitarrista Roberto Merlone si è dedicato interamente alla sua passione: la moto.
