Steve Albini in the corner doing horrible things to guitars as Nikki Sixx does his hair. 303’s lining the walls playing through a Commodore 64 backed by the deafening howl of girl punk screaming... Is that Keith Flint and Unkle on the dancefloor? And Ritchie Blackmore, The Cure and Joy Division standing shy against the wall?.. You hear a tune containing a guitar solo that goes on too long and the music you don't remember hearing in a sweaty Berlin nightclub but you know was awesome at the time...
Sounds Like
Formed in 2009, UB&TV created their unique pop-electonica-grunge sound by sending ideas over the internet to each other until they were all in the same country again. When they got back they threw them up online and got gigging. .. .. No messing about! .. .. If you happen to make it along to a gig, you'll hear: .. .. The beats ramping up....now stick a kicking bassline over the top...jump it around ever so slightly then and again...now throw in some grungy guitar...that's it...now you're kicking...now it's time for those sweet swingy vocals...now a guitar solo...OH YES GUITAR SOLO! WIDIDIDIDLEEE LEEELDIDIDIDI...ramp up the beats...throw some more noise...now bring it up until its a big old beautiful electronic sounding mess...fade...fade...fade.... .. ..
