About me:

Florent Tarrieux expérimente des projets audio-visuels hybrides, certains dans le cadre d'installations, à travers lesquels il vise à détourner les codes du cinéma afin de les réinjecter dans un processus expérimental de destructuration narrative.
Son travail joue donc sur un rapport fiction / réel en se nourrissant de thématiques scientifiques liées à la mémoire, l'identité et les états modifiés de conscience.

Parallèlement, il développe des lives visuels dont l'univers est partagé entre ambiances dark sophistiquées (mêlant vidéo et motion graphism) et animations bordeliques cheap colorées inspirées de l'imagerie médicale des années 70.
Autant d'espaces distordus et de temporalités éclatées où se côtoient animaux 8 bit imaginaires hybrides défoncés au Lexomil et paysages postmodernes sub-urbains. A la fois ludique et inquiétant...
