En 2007, Creps & Yann fondent THESAINTCYR autour du projet d’album Wave Factory.

Historique

A la fin des années 80,Sebastien Crepinior alias Creps enflamme la scène punk-rock de la région creilloise. Les pogo font rage dans cette cité ouvrière du nord de Paris. Les "benjamins du rock français" (comme les nomme Le Parisien) au côté de groupes comme "Les innocents", "Louis Bertignac", "Clair obscure" investissent la "Granges à musique", considérée par Best comme un des viviers rock majeur des années 80.

En 1994, Creps, Rod & Yann fondent Saint-Cyr sur un concept New wave / Electro-pop qui détonne dans le paysage musical des années 90. Cette expérience éclair (le groupe se sépare l'hiver 1995) donnera naissance à l'âme du groupe refondé en 2007 THESAINTCYR.

1992 ― Vainqueur du tremplin rock "Jeunes espoirs du rock" - Concert au "New Morning"
1995 ― Enregistrement du 2 titres "Fragment" au studio Cosmogroove
2007 ― Fondation de THESAINTCYR

In 2007, Creps and Yann founded THESAINTCYR around the project of the Wave Factory album.

History

At the end of the 80’s, Creps set the punkrock scene of Creil on fire. Moshes erupted in this working-class city of northern Paris. Dubbed the “upstarts of french rock” (by newspaper Le Parisien) alongside bands like Les innocents, Louis Bertignac and Clair Obscur, took over the venue Granges à Musique, considered by Best as a major incubator of rock in the 80’s.

In 1994, Creps, Rod and Yann founded Saint-Cyr on a new-wave/electro-pop concept which stands out in the musical field of the 90’s. This brief and thrilling experience (the band split in winter 1995) gave birth to the soul of THESAINTCYR - the band re-founded in 2007.
