But it took a little longer than expected... ..Established in 2003 The Pretty Machine have kept writing new material, sort of, and have worked equally as hard, not counting trips to the pub... ..The Pretty Machines real names are:.. ..* Ben Janet - Vocals / Bass Guitar ..* Richy Lloyd - Guitar / Backing Vocals ..* Ash Pears - Drums / Backing Vocals ..If you haven't heard them yet, The Pretty Machine are a loud musical band. They take influence from a whole bunch of brilliant British bands to the likes of The Wildhearts, 3 Colours Red, Kerbdog, Therapy? etc.. ..Their travels around the UK have, lets be honest, being pretty sparse. But, they have played along side some of the UK's and Yorkshires finest, to the likes of 'Sorry and The Sinatras', '[Spunge]', 'Billy No Mates', 'Eureka Machines', 'The Scaramanaga Six' and local Huddersfield wideboys 'Mr. Shiraz'... ..The Pretty Machine (over the last seven years) have independently financed and distributed a collection of 6 radical CDs, including "Covered in Fire" (2006), "School Children Need It" (2005) and "Rockin' Stockin' Filla" (Christmas 2003). The have also appeared on a selection of CD compilations, including "Rhythm Drum Magazine Issue 234", "A Place Inside Our Minds - The Official Feeder Tribute" and "Boot Music - Best of Leeds"... ..February 2010 sees The Pretty Machine celebrate seven years of making music together. I know, SEVEN years. The bands time has been immortalized with the recording of their first full length LP proper. "TBC" has been recorded and mixed by the band, and is due to be released through the bands own indy label, Def Granny, in July 2010... ..Live shows are loud and rad and the music ejaculating from the stage sounds twice as epic as could ever be captured on some kind of record, but that is not to stop them from trying... ..Expected this delight or not?.. ..REVIEWS.. ..New reviews for the album coming very soon - but checkout what people have to say about us...we'll it was a while ago, but who cares?.. .."The Pretty Machine have a keen ear for a tune and melody.
