Bio:

The Morning Side were formed under the arches of a South London Underground station, united by a penchant for Indie Rock, Synthesizers and Dance music. Singer, Daryl Van Horn, is looking to follow in the footsteps of fellow Elliott School Alumni, Hot Chip, The XX, Four Tet and Adem: "There must be something in the water down there. Music was never big on the curriculum, but it keeps producing top-drawer talent".

Recently signed to Indie Label 'Shameless', they are currently working on their debut album and causing a stir on the live circuit. Drawing influence from the likes of Duran Duran, Daft Punk and Fleetwood Mac comparisons have been made to contemporaries such as The Killers, Friendly Fires and MGMT.

The Morning Side are experts at tapping into emotion. Their live-set is a dynamic spectrum of high-energy joy and reflective intricacy, making them instant hit with gig-goers. Having sold-out headline shows at 93 Feet East, The Clapham Grand, The Halfmoon Putney & 100 Club, the band own every inch of boards they tread. As if knowing their fate, The Morning Side have the presence of The Next Big Thing and deliver like festival headliners.

But if that is the future, for now their fans can say "I saw them first".
