...... The Monks of Sex have been on the Westchester New York music seen for the last 25 years. Started by Mark Glazier and Ralph Croteau with a dream of making people happy and having a good time themselves, while they play the music they love so much. Everything from punk rock to Motown the blues and just good old fashion rock and roll. They could be playing the Ramones then the next song could be Rick James you never know with this band. Rounding out the rest of the band is Steve Pidel on guitar and vocals, he has command of all of todays sounds and yesterdays too he is a very talented guitar player and keeps the crowd dancing with some hot guitar solos. On Drums we have Brian Wahl the prankster of the band you never know whats going to happen get him and Ralph going and thats it. And last but not lest the secret weapon of the Monks is Mark Belodino on Sax you have never herd anything till you here the Sedated solo played by Mark and Steve it rocks or any other punk song as a mater of fact, Nirvana,Bush,Rancid,Jet,Strokes,Clash,Green Day,N.Y.Dolls(Ralph favorite),Sex Pistols, just to name a few of the bands they cover. So sit back have a beer and enjoy a Monk show you will not be disappointed. The Monks of Sex are a cover band and play out in the Westchester area we hope to see you at the shows, and we will have a drink together. ......Well here it is some very old Monks of Sex the original boys. Mark wrote these songs way back in the 80's (yes all that 80's reverb) you asked for it here it is when Mark and Ralph first started the band, Mark played all the guitar parts ( now he is on bass) and sang the lead on the song Is it Love, Ralph sang Angry at a Heartbreak. The original Band here they are RalphCroteau lead vocals and cow bell and Tammy, Mark Glazier on Guitars and vocals Danny Fisher on bass and vocals and Joe Rocosta on drums and vocals. To all the old fans hope you like it remember the 80's and the big party to you new fans a little something old thank god we grew up.... DON'T THINK SO LETS ROCK & ROLL ...... Ok all you old fans who want more, found some more music the original Piledriver with Mark singing it and the famous Jackie scream Marks Walk on the Water and two bluegrass songs, these songs were also recorded around 85. There was a big mix of music in our lives at that time, and at that time the name of the band was the Crows. With Ralph singing Mark on guitar and singing Chris Buessum on Guitar and vocals Randy Adams on bass and Jackie Christensen on drums and vocals. This band was a little crazy all of us went to high school together and we all had different influences in music. Chris was one hell of a banjo picker and Mark really loved Neil Young and bluegrass music. We all know Ralph loved the NY DOLLS same with Jack and Randy . So the band had a lot of different styles and loves. Mark and Jack wrote most of the music at the time and these new old songs are all by Mark ( i'll find Jackie stuff later got to find Billy Ryder ) Randy played guitar on Walk on the Water. So sit back and remember the old days of the Crows and the beginning of the Monks and don't laugh to much at the songs we loved recording them. Oh shout out to Mark Lavender for playing the fiddle he was awesome came in and said i'll do it for a case of beer and Mark said your hired .................... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ........................ .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ........
