Bio
The Love That Whirls was originally Julian Brown & Joel Bailey. Julian & Joel met in the spring of 1989 & shortly afterwards began to write pastoral acoustic songs. Influenced by artists such as Martin Stephenson & The Daintees, Virginia Astley & The Go-Betweens, Julian & Joel continued to write songs together until 1993. The Love That Whirls disbanded & Julian occasionally wrote songs with his brother & former Great Garden frontman, Andrew Brown. Now The Love That Whirls is the pseudonym Julian uses for his home recorded lo-fi (& low key!) musical project. Julian is also a member of the noir pop act The Delvaux. Julian also occasionally collaborates with his Swedish friend Jonas Lofving by exchanging tapes in the mail. Julian has also been responsible along with Andrew for running rpm music club, organising artists/bands to play at a music night held in Shipley, West Yorkshire. Julian works in the vintage trade with his wife Caroline at The House Of Rose & Brown Vintage. .. I edited my profile with ..Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4.. -

Hi Julian
Thanks for the kind comments about the album. Glad you like Girl No one it's my fav song also. It is getting a first live outing when we play Newcle on July 10 so we'll prob ruin it. How did the Beatles night go? lots of screaming girls running around and a Wilfred Bramble look alike?
I agree never buy an ipod - a cassette machine bamboozles me...
