Albert Frey, Andy Warhol, and Stanley Marcus (I've actually met them), John Lennon, Le Corbusier, Andy Garcia, Gary Cunningham, Thomas Merton, Bob Dylan, Garcia Lorca, Louis Kahn, Elvis Presley, Ava Gardner, Rumi, William Burroughs, Leonard Cohen, R.M. Schindler, Willem de Kooning, Wilheim Reich, Arshile Gorky, Philip Guston, Mark Rothko, Yves Klein, Cy Twombly, William Eggleston, and Jesus Christ. Over the years I've had the pleasure of meeting a number of incredible artists, athletes and performers who all dropped into the store... including Jeff Buckley, Red Hot Chili Peppers, James Hall (of Pleasure Club), Radiohead, Milla Jovavich, Eazy E, Chip Taylor (he wrote "Wild Thing" and "Angel of the Morning"), Butthole Surfers, Geto Boys, Sarah MacClauclan, Public Enemy, Wu Tang Clan, John Densmore, 808 State, Daniel Johnston, Cypress Hill, Coldplay, 311, Jesus and Mary Chain, Alison Moyet, Dennis Rodman, Lol Tolhurst, Echo and the Bunnymen, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Peaches, Def Jef, Tripping Daisy, Pantera, Rigor Mortis, Circle Jerks, Jello Biafra, King Diamond, Weezer, Cracker, and my favorite artist of all time Ben Harper. I'd love to meet each and every one of you, too. I love everybody. I don't discriminate. The only thing I ask is this - please don't leave comments advertising stuff that we don't sell in the store. I don't mind promoting albums or CDs that are already available as part of our catalog, but if just going to use my page to promote your stuff, our webmaster is going to delete it right away. You have to realize... if we're not selling it, then you're part of our competition. It's hard enough already just to keep the store open and running. I'm not going to help you put our store out of business. We really need people to BUY stuff at Bill's Records, not use our space to sell your stuff and then act like we don't even exist.
