Japanese experimetal composer and instrumentalist Takeda (born Keiko Takeda) attended piano and composition classes at Boston's Berklee College of Music before making her debut in 1992 with the release of Spirits.
Playing an hybrid style comprising laid-back/mellow, soothing and sophisticated tunes Takeda returned in 1995 with the Brazilian jazz-inflected Poemas mostly inspired by the legendary Antonio Carlos Jobim. ~ Drago Bonacich
