About me: Students Against Depression www.studentdepression.org .. offers comprehensive information and self-help resources for students affected by low mood, depression or suicidal thinking. This award-winning site was developed in conjunction with students who had themselves experienced depression - their stories and strategies form an integral part of the site. The site is sponsored by the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust, a depression-focused charity, and is run in conjunction with the Heads of University Counselling Services group of AUCC (Association for University and College Counselling). It is supported by the National Union of Students. The CWMT was set up by the family of a young man who committed suicide and works to raise awareness about the dangers of depression. All this information and more is available on www.studentdepression.org .. . If you have urgent enquiries please contact the Samaritans on either 08457 909090 or email jo@samaritans.org.
