The year is 2012 and Stalkin’ Season is still in full effect! Knightstalker, born and bred in the south-west of Germany’s capital Berlin, got in touch with rap music for the first time in the mid-nineties. Fascinated by the rhymes, flows and beats of east- and west coast artists alike, he soon fell in love with the art form called hiphop. A couple of years later, motivated by his people, he decided to “get his grind on” and started penning bars on his own. And although German Rap was and is on a steady rise he made the decision to write his lyrics strictly in English because he feels more comfortable in expressing his self this way. By growing up in the borough of Neukölln, Knightstalker learned at an early age what it means to live in a borough with a high crime and unemployment rate. Besides dealing with those socio-political topics he adds his own little twist of modern day battle rap and storytelling to the mix!

Geboren und aufgewachsen in der Hauptstadt, nahm Knightstalker schon Mitte der neunziger Jahre das erste Mal Kontakt mit der Welt des Hip‐Hops auf. Seine Begeisterung für die Kultur lief über in eine fanatische Plattensammlerei bis hin zu dem Zeitpunkt, an dem er selbst das Mic in die Hand nahm. Fasziniert von Reimen, Flows und Beats amerikanischer Vorbilder der Ost‐ und Westküste, entschied er sich, Gedankengut und Gefühlswelten nicht in seiner Muttersprache, sondern in englischer Sprache niederzuschreiben und zu performen. Wenn der Neuköllner in seinen Texten von Kriminalität und Arbeitslosigkeit spricht, dann weil er weiß, wie hart das Leben auch als Deutscher im Berliner Untergrund sein kann. Aber auch im Umgang mit sozio‐politischen Themen, weiß sich der deutsche End Of The Weak Judge mit einer Mischung aus Battle Rap und Storytelling zu verständigen. Knightstalker ‐ der Deutsche mit den englischen Rap‐Songs ‐ erntete in der Vergangenheit für seinen Mut und seine Skills, nicht nur Applaus amerikanischer Kollegen sondern auch viele Features, die wirklich beeindrucken. Sein Debut‐Album „Stalkin' Season“ erschien im Jahr 2008.

Né et grandi dans la capitale allemande, Knightstalker decouvra le rap lors des années 90. Son enthousiasme pour cette culture trouvera son point culmulant non pas dans sa collection de disques mais au moment ou il prennait le mic dans sa main. Fasciné par ces idoles de la Eastcoast et du Westcoast, de leurs rimes, leur flow et leur technique, il décida non pas d’écire ses lyrics en allemand mais en anglais. Quand ce jeune issus du quartier problématique Neukölln, parle de criminalité ou de chomage, il sait de quoi il s’agit. Mais aussi de ce qui concerne les thémes socio- politiques, l’ancien directeur de ....wu-tang.de.... sait faire un beau mélange entre un rap engagé et un rap street. Knightstalker- l’Allemand avec des sons en englais – receuillit pour son courage et ses skillz beaucoup, non seulement des applaudissements des ces collèges américains mais aussi des featurings qui surprennent. Son premier album solo „Stalkin Season“ sortait en 2008.
