Dates added to Soulfly's upcoming US tour with Straight Line Stitch & Incite
Soulfly is in the midst of the second European leg of their Omen World Tour and isn't expecting to slow down anytime soon. The band has added several dates to their forthcoming US tour with Straight Line Stitch & Incite including stops in Ohio, Massachusetts, Arkansas, and South Carolina. The tour will begin in southern California, traverse northeast across the country towards New England, and then take a sharp turn towards the south; in addition to the touring bands, these shows will feature support from various local bands along the way. Soulfly's Omen World Tour! Dates booked in ISRAEL, CHINA, RUSSIA, EUROPE, and USA
Worldwide Soulfly Tribe!! Max and the boys have booked 40+ dates to span the end of 2010 in support of the new album Omen. They'll be doing dates in Israel (with Ozzfest) and China, a full tour of Russia, European dates in Poland, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, and United Kingdom, and will end the year with a quick jaunt across the USA with support from Straight Line Stitch & Incite. Soulfly and Bobby Burns part ways
As was announced by Roadrunner Records, Soulfly have indeed parted ways with bassist Bobby Burns. The split was completely amicable and there was no animosity on either side.
Earlier yesterday, Bobby posted the following message on his Twitter page in regards to the decision: "To all the fans... Soulfly and I have decided to part ways. Stay tuned for my next projects already in the works. Thanks 4 ur support!!!"
Johny Chow, who plays with Max and Marc in Cavalera Conspiracy (and is also a member of Fireball Ministry), will be loaning his skills to upcoming Soulfly tours for the immediate future until the position is filled. Fans will be able to check out this lineup of the band out on the second leg of the Omen tour beginning at the end of July.
