"Calling all music fans! Benefit gig for The SMASH Youth Project at Riffs on Saturday 20th March! SMASH is Swindon's Youth Mentoring Charity which since 1999 has trained over 300 volunteers who have in turn supported hundreds more of Swindon's most vulnerable young people to achieve their potential in life, sometimes when almost everyone else had given up on them. The Project is currently facing a funding shortfall and is desperately seeking sponsors so that it can continue it's work. The gig at riffs will be a chance to raise some much needed funds but also a chance for the young people of swindon to show their support for the project and to let the people in power know that SMASH is something that they value.
