  • Bio

My name is Shauna Osborne-Dowle, Motalue is my middle name. Today I'm a filmmaker but my career in films started with making music videos for my own songs. The first concieved idea was for my song 'Cowboy Blues' which came from my self produced & recorded album; Anchor in 2002. Later I went back to using material from Super8 films which I'd shot in the mid 90s and re-cutting them to some other tracks; 'Time will Tell' and 'Bitter Tears'. Then in 2006 I produced a Cornish language version of my song Anchor, re-named Ankor and I made a music video from a collage of stills and Archive footage, as part of my M.A in Television Production. I didn't choose to persue my musical career because I know how hard it is to be a professional musicain, but I do have the greatest respect for others doing it, I hope you enjoy my songs.

Hello Shauna. Keep doing everything - whoever thought specialization was a good idea? And you have a cellist too - must get one of those. Lovely...
