Rogue Robots are Dj Lee Nazari and Producer Gareth Salmon, based on the south coast of England. Formed at the end of 2008 their intentions are clear: Rock the dancefloor! The Rogue Robots sound could be described as a mix of Electro and House with a filthy mix of avalanche inducing basslines, stomping beats and arsehole tearing riffs. Spurned on by the fact that its now cheaper to make your own tunes rather than buy them, what with the Credit Crunch and all... Rogue Robots have set about making a host of tunes for your dancefloor pleasure. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lee Nazari - Where i grew up (WOLVERHAMPTON/WEST MIDLANDS, UK) all there was to go out to listen to was speed garage and drum and bass, house music was non existent infact there was only one club in the city you could go and hear house at but that was not a problem because i was only fixated with phat dirty basslines that would slap you all over the dancefloors of these speed garage gigs. it wasn't until i moved to Bournemouth 8 yrs ago until i really started listening to house. and now i love it like a mistress!! I've been DJing for 3 years now, and im Currently running the biggest and baddest Breaks & Electro night on the South Coast, called Break Da House. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gareth Salmon - I've always been a fan of all kinds of music, from rock to jungle. I started off playing in bands when i was a teenager, but soon developed an interest in dance music. I started producing back in 97 with the purchase of a knackered old 303, since then i've accumulated quite a collection of equipment and got into the software side of things. Alongside the Rogue Robots project I currently produce Breaks with my live band Freefall Collective with whom i've been lucky enough to play in some wicked venues such as Fabric, SE1 and various places all over Europe.
