About me:

If you had to name one song that best describes you as a person what would it be? For budding rock n roll reporter and On The Couch host Katey Taylor the choice is easy. She professes non other than Oasis lyrical masterpiece Shes Electric as the song that sums her up, The lyrics are brilliant; Shes electric/ Shes got a family full of eccentrics/ Shes done things I never expected, seriously who could ask for a better song!
The secret to her captivating success is her comical approach to life, I dont take myself too seriously, you've gotta be able to sit back and take the piss out of yourself or you will never be able to take criticism on board.
Katey Ts road to rock and roll began in 2004 when she got a job writing for Beat Magazine. It was there her editor urged her to audition for On The Couch, she did and the rest is history.
Since joining the On The Couch team, Katey T has been able to showcase her vivacious personality and captivating charm as a presenter, subsequently coining the phrase Rock on You Crazy Diamonds. How many people can say they talked bling with Amp Fiddler, got line dancing lessons from Snow Patrols Mark McClelland and discussed the best places in Melbourne to have a bender with Libertine Carlos Barat.
Thats whats great about Kate, despite that fact that it rhymes, she has an exceptional talent for getting the gold in an interview. With sheer determination that would make many green with envy and an uncanny ability to connect with anyone she meets, I recommend that you watch this space because its only going to be a matter of time before Katey T makes her mark on the rock n roll scene.
