  • Bio

Been playing drums since the age of 14. Have played with too many bands and people over the years to be arsed to write it all down! Was in 2 original bands in Stoke in the early 80's called Learning to Speak and Batwing Chaps. Moved to Norway in 86 where I lived for 20 years, during which time I played with a whole shitload of talented musicians playing both original stuff and covers. Despite chopping and changing personnel over the years, one guy remained with me in most constellations, a bass player by the name of Erik Eriksen, an incredibly talented chap! I moved back to Stoke in 2006 and am at present bandless, but hopefully not for long.......

  • Influences

I remember vividly the moment I knew I wanted to play drums. I was about 11 and was watching the old American sitcom "I Love Lucy" In this particular episode, Lucy's son played by Desi Arnaz Jr was entered into a drumming contest, and to help prepare was visited by the one and only Buddy Rich. They set up two kits in the living room and what they did just blew me away. I just thought "THAT's what I wanna do!" My biggest influences in drumming are John Bonham and Ian Paice. Others include Bill Ward, Keith Moon, Mitch Mitchell, Kenny Jones, Cozy Powell, Carl Palmer and many others.

Couldn't find anywhere for credits on the songs I've added so I thought I'd do it here! "Can I Come Back Now", "Paranoid Schizophrenia", "Naked Tree" and "Yesterday's Dream" are all written and composed by Dustin Wolves. I did the drumming and recording. "Holiday in the USA" - words and music by Egil Guthormsen, drumming by me! "Toyz 4 the Boyz" - words, singing and drumming by me, music by Linda Fonda's Bicycle
