Born in 1979 in Osaka. Starting her career as a singer in 1996, RIE LAMBDOLL was deeply involved in PUNKS/ HARD CORE and beyond as a teenager. Began using synthesizers, samplers and voice as a tool for musical experiment in 1998. Participating in The World Festival of Sacred Music in Hiroshima by Dalai Lama and Toshinori Kondo as an artist care staff in 2001, it was the cornerstone of her musicianship meeting ethnic musicians around the globe. As the rave scene attracting attention in Tokyo, she performed in numerous live acts as a vocalist in freeman lead by JAZZ BROTHERS DJ YAMA a.k.a SAHIB. While shifting base to Osaka in 2003, organized her own unit CROSSBRED and TERESA11, released multiple unique production domestically/ overseas using wide variety of equipments. In 2007, CROSSBRED was invited to experimental music festival EXPERIMENTA CLUB '07 in Madrid Spain and received great acclaim. Went on to making DEEP HOUSE/ TECHNO based tracks, the piece composed with DJ Shiho the purple haze got 5th place on the dj chart of Nova Dream Sequence (King Britt ). Solo 12'' titled “17” which featured remix by DJ NOBU was released and became domestic gossip of 2008. Other collaboration includes Full Circle Compilation 12'' including “In The Maze” with Swedish engineer Relapxych.0 from Canadian label SILENT SEASON, and KLEPTOLAMBDOLL “Dazzling Pre-Headz” with KLEPTOMANIAC and released from Powershovel Audio of Japan. Furthermore, she is expanding activities in the field of DJ.
