For twenty-four years the Reading Lesbian & Gay Helpline had helped local people with information, support and advice. Hundreds of people contact the Helpline each year, often they have had no one else to talk to about their difficult issues.

The beYOU Helpline is a confidential phone service which aims to provide a wide range of information covering topics as diverse as; ’coming out’, sexual health, mental health, relationships, domestic abuse, and local information.

They host BeHERE once a month at Global Café, RISC, 35-39 London Street, Reading. Although this is not a ’gay’ venue, the cafe supports many different lifestyles and backgrounds, with strong anti-homophobic polices. You can find us usually at the quieter, rear of the cafe. Just look out for the BeHERE sign.

As well as a forum and other ways for advice please see website for information.
