THE MUSIC ON THIS PAGE: 1) "Angel By the Road" – from the album "Apertures." I took a photo with my old Minolta camera of the road that goes along where our house used to be on the farm where I grew up in Kansas. When the film was developed a bright light appeared by the side of the road, not an anomaly caused by the sun shining through the lens. As a child, I would stand in the garden where I supposed to be weeding the potato patch, listening to the angels singing in the trees along the creek. My weirdness must have been obvious since the kids in school used to say, "Go away – you're weird!" Yet my secret was I knew this was where the music came from which I heard in my ears the minute I'd place my head on the pillow to fall asleep at night. 2) "The Thorn Tree" – from the album, "Elements of Trees." I wanted to depict the kind of solitude heard in the third movement of Bartok's Suite Opus 14; the loneliness that might be felt by living creatures who are unnoticed and unloved. The thorn tree may have no usefulness or beauty to justify its existence; but it, too, has a reason to exist on this planet. 3) "The White Horse Waits" – from the album, "Apertures," is about a white horse haunting my dreams for years; the magnificent white horse is snorting, whinnying, pawing the ground and galloping up a hill and back, impatient for the journey to begin. 4) "Summer Love" – from the album, "Dreaming the World," is about a passionate summer romance, the kind that leaves bittersweet memories of the love that always remains in your heart. 5) "Molecular Harmony" – from the album "Apertures" is the feeling of joy that permeates every cell of your being from your head to your fingertips right down to your toes, when everything in the universe seems to hum in perfect order and harmony. 6) "Waltz for My Father" – from the album, "Flyover People," music for friends, family and home, is a musical tribute to my father, a very fine gentleman. 7) "Veriditas" – from the album, "Apertures," recorded on two tracks, music for the stillness and quiet of the deep forest, an ode to the greening and healing force of nature. 8) "Ode to the Satellite" – from the album, "Tracks on the Moon," is whatever you think it is. 9) "Sweet Annemarie" – a musical tribute to a dear friend, an angel who walks the earth with beauty and kindness. 10) "My Breath Is Your Breath" – from the album, "Elements of Trees," is a musical sigh from trees as their breath fills the air with oxygen, expressing a longing for recognition and gratitude from humans. Harmonically, the opening bars are similar to Debussy's "Clair de Lune." All the music on this page was recorded at Tantrum Studios in Montecito, CA, engineered and mastered by Sjoerd Koppert.

Acoustic piano music, classically structured, impressionistic and filled with imagery. People are saying: "Elizabeth is a true classical composer with the ability to channel Chi through her music. Her music and healing go together hand in hand like two very good friends." - Anna Wolfe, singer/songwriter, Nashville, TN / "Truly American - in the best sense; beautifully lyrical . . . with a sheer joy of performance." - Nigel Coxe, professor emeritus, Department of Music, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA / "Very mathematical . . . in a similar way to some of Scott Joplin's more complex works but much more diverse." - Greg Barrette, Senior Minister, Renaissance Unity Church, Warren, MI ________________________________________________________ .. .......... .. ....Myspace Layouts.. $layout_link / ..Hot Comments.. / ..Image Hosting.. ..
