Pedantic Pedestrian
“EUROVISION SONG CONTEST: second semi-final... I would LIKE to believe that something as classy as SWEDEN's entry - http://lnk.ms/c74gS - might stand a chance. But I have a horrible feeling that it'll be something more like this screechy horror from the UKRAINE - http://lnk.ms/byrj7 - For some reason that is beyond me, folks actually LIKE this kind of M-Peoplesque melismatic grandstanding. I blame Simon Cowell.”

Shelfy: "...[we] had a go at being avant-garde musicians. Because it was easy. Hit a chair and shout 'Ave Maria' and you've done it! We were teenagers and teenagers think everything is a piece of piss. So that was avant-garde music sorted..." - taken from his potted history of Johnson's Gridling Band
The following people have testified that THE PEDANTIC PEDESTRIAN is a dirty collaborator:
Rabbit Show Reject, Evil Demented Bunny, Rabbithole Sam (The Glass Virgins), Rabid Sow Reject, Mervyn Purviss (Absolute Zero), Johnson's Gridling Band, The Future of Rock & Roll?, Teaset Body Review, Blue Wails On Blit Street, TV By Tears, Ken Dead & The Dodgy Men, Art Ratz, The Christmas Trees, The Male La La's, Stevie Chunder & The Fake Vegetable Reichstag (Magic Cow), The Unconventional Choir of Smelly Nurses, The Darkening Scale (Renaldo & The Loaf / The Music Is Taboo), Purblind Rabbit, JoXfield ProjeX, DJ Ben Espiritu, Cries of Calliope.

Works in Progress
The latest in the long-running series "New Pieces From Old"! This is a brand new piece, but it's mainly constructed from samples of an old STRUMPFEN track (It no longer sounds much like a Stumpfen track, otherwise "they" would have got a credit!). The title may or may not be a clue as to which one. There might also be a few bits of Christmas Trees and/or Stevie Chunder in there as well, but don't quote me on that. It's definitely a "work in progress" - it might have something added to it, it might have something taken away (or just get thrown away). Who knows?
PPeace XIVb/Finagling (Pedantic Pedestrian meets JoXfield ProjeX)
This is a concatenation, if you will, of two pieces with Scandinavian chums JOxFIELD PROJEx, recorded in 2009. The first was called 'Peace Bit XIV' as it was constructed entirely out of samples of their 'Pieces 1 to 13'. The second (the middle section) contains various JoXfield samples set against drums and bass tracks of my own device (almost certainly remnants of an ART RATZ session). Originally these tunes were used as soundtracks to some suitably spooky experimental videos. Looking back on it now, the video is not that great! I decided that the music was good enough to stand in its own right (you be the judge of that!).
Anyway, thanX to Oax and Jan for the opportunity!
The Holy Grail (L'Thigh Royale) by CC:PP
Another spicy collaborative effort from the CC:PP concern. There's also a demo version of this tune on the Cries of Calliope page, but this one's even better! Words and voices by CC, recorded live to webcam in Cali-for-ni-ay. All music by PP, recorded here in Old Hampshire GB. By the way, it's very saucy this one. So it should not be listened to by minors, their parents, religious nutjobs or anyone who is easily offended by LANGUAGE. But you 'orrible lot should be okay...
