Producing a sound recently described by Tom Robinson on BBC6 Music (July 09) as 'completely professional, beautifully recorded and produced', six-piece rock band Orchid Thieves have been taking the South East by storm since March. Likened to bands such as Fleetwood Mac, The Police and Moloko, Orchid Thieves continue to wow the crowds with raw, driving rhythms, bittersweet lyrics and a live energy that inspires even the more reluctant movers amongst us! Rhiannon Jones, 'a confident minx with the presence of Bonnie Tyler and Tina Turner' (Remote Goat reviews, London - 20/5/09) fronts the band with a mixture of strong, edgy vocals and boundless stage energy; perfectly complementing Niall Squire’s edgy chiming guitars, awe-inspiring solos and hooks so strong you can hang your coat on them; a combination that creates a performance that slaps you across the face and leaves you thirsty for more.
