Opeth's Comments

It is with great pleasure to announce the release of my new acoustic album "This Is Home" which is now in selected digital and itunes stores in Belgium, Germany, UK, Canada, USA and Mexico. The main themes of "This Is Home" is of love found, love lost, past and pressent relationships. Have been said that there are a few songs that are reminiscent of my childhood which I hope my boys will be able to see through my eyes.
 What makes this album different from it's predecessors is that my guitar and voice were recorded simultaneously and by doing so this enabled us to keep the recordings spontaneous and intimate. Here is the first videoclip from the album. I hope you'll enjoy it and please do share it.

 the first thing that comes to mind thinking about last night. Your voice sounded incredibly crisp and clear and the effects were perfect. The guitar leads were so incredible the gods them selves must have turned their attention to the stage when you were working magic. I wanted to hear Black Rose Immortal but i didn't want to scream it like those other fuck heads who must not realize that you probably plan your set list. Anyway The show was incredible but it seemed like there was not very much of your heavier metaler songs. I was anticipating some brutal opeth and instead it was a quite relaxing and soothing. Thank you for what you do .Now more than ever I want to be up on stage. not for money, not for the fame,, i don't even want to be seen, it just feels like the only place i belong in this magical world that was demonized by humans.
