The story. The band was five blokes, each bringing their own individual influences with them which include The Wildhearts, Bad Religion, Faith No More, Therapy? and Metallica, to name but a few. These influences meld into a sound which crosses the genres of punk, rock & metal, with the end result being songs with the power & drive of metal with a punk rock attitude & huge sing-a-long choruses.

The band have gained valuable experience on the live front which shows in their full on performances. Recording wise, they have recorded various demos in the past which have been well received by their fans & also gained them favourable reviews along the way. Always looking to gig, they have had support slots with the likes of .......... The B MOVIE HEROES, TOKYO DRAGONS, SKINDRED, THERAPY? and RACHEL STAMP.

Their mission was to gig anywhere & everywhere in the U.K and beyond! They failed, but were always up for it. Any of them would tell you they were never going to save the world, just brighten up what could otherwise be a pretty dull place to live!!!

An amazing sense of melody strong gritty vocals KERRANG!

Like a cross between A.F.I and Iron Maiden.....Tidy!! RANDOM DUDE!!

Much like Therapy? a decade or so earlier, One room Down find some space in the unholy alliance of metal and punk to wreak their mayhem. MATCHBOX RECORDINGS
