    ..Om Prakash Pandey.. called Pankaj born near Varanasi in 1975. first time he was inspired with Tabla by susri Alka Mirchandani and from then on this instrument became a part of his life...At the age of 18 years he began studying Tabla with Shri saumya kanti mukherjee (sinior deciple of Pt.Chhote Lal Misra from Varanasi Gharana) who impact his life in beutifull manner and later on continuing learning the essence of this instrument in traditional way under the guidance of the great Maestro, Great Guru Pt.Chhote Lal Misra. He started playing Tabla not so early...but he believes in simplicity, devotional temperament and in spirituality which makes us share the soul of music and the nature of people . He finished his Master degree ( M.Mus) in 2002 from BHU Varanasi. Nowadays he lives in Germany and making a bridge between different cultures and accompanying with several Indian classical musicians. He is greatfull to meet with Young maestro Mandolin Player and nice person Shri Sugato Bhaduri from Kolkatta (www.sugatobhaduri.com)who is influencing to develop the personality and something much more ..... and whenever he has less energy then he like to be with one nice musician and person Dr. Smarajit Chakravorty who gives the right dimension to go forward. Contniousaly attached with all those musicians including Sitar Player Pro. subrato Rai choudhary,Sarod Player Somjit Dasgupta and many more... Nachdem ihn zunächst der „Senior diciple" des großen Tabla-virtuosen Guru PtChhote Lal Misra, nämalich Shri Saumya Kanti Mukherjee in die kunst des Tablaspiels einweihte, Konnte er später seine kenntnisse beim großen Guru Pt. Chhote Lal Misra selbst vervollkommen. .. .. ..Om Prakash Pandey.. graduierte 2002, an der Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, mit dem Master of Music in Tabla... Im Mittelpunkt seines musikalischen Anspruchs stehen Schlichtheit, hingebungsvolles Temperament und Spiritualität. Om Prakash Pandey graduierte 2002, an der Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, mit dem Master of Music in Tabla.
Im Mittelpunkt seines musikalischen Anspruchs stehen Schlichtheit, hingebungsvolles Temperament und Spiritualität. Om Prakash spielt in Weltmusik-Projekten und begleitet bekanten indische Musiker auf ihren Europa-Tourneen.
