Maryam Heydarzadeh

Maryam Heydarzadeh stole the Iranian nation's heart all over the world, with her poems and her sweet angel-like voice. Her poems are full of love, romance , and emotions combining together all with true incidents that have moved her life at some point . Maryam's sincere pureness in poems, shows love with the most simple words, of the Farsi language. Words that are used in everyday communication, but have the deepest meanings with the fullest sense. Maryam Heydarzadeh lost her eyesight at the young age of 4, due to a mistake done on behalf of her doctor, in the process of a Catarct eye surgery. Since her childhood, she has had a certain passion for writing poems. Although she is a renown poet, her major at the University of Azad in Tehran was Law. Maryam loves the soccer team "Perspolis" in Tehran more than life itself . Her style and special concept of poetry has made her well known world wide, and a Legend. Her poems are tought in Persian Literature classes, in High Schools and Universities in Iran. Such artists as Kamran & Hooman, Mahasti, Daruish, Leila Forouhar, Mehrdad Asemani, Fereydoun, Hengameh, Sepideh, Nima, Helen, Mojtaba Kabiri, Kami , and many other artists in Iran, have had the priveledge of working with her, and using her lyrics in their songs.
