Bio:

Music from Stanley is an eclectic mix of some of Idaho's best musicians. Music from Stanley consists of: 1) A live concert series that takes place on Sunday afternoons June through September at Redfish Lake Lodge in Stanley, Idaho. 2) A radio show, hosted by Ryan Peck, that airs on KBSU and KISU in the fall. The radio shows are comprised of concert audio, commentary, and interview segments with the artists. They are generally great. In 2005, the first year, Music from Stanley resulted in 10 live concerts at Redfish and 10 30-minute radio shows. The radio shows aired in the fall and reached listeners in Boise, Twin Falls, McCall, Ketchum, Stanley, Challis and surrounding areas. Music from Stanley also had write-ups in the Boise Weekly, Thrive and The Idaho Statesman. In 2006, 2007 and 2008 the roster of artists grew dramatically and the number of concerts and radio shows more than doubled. Some of the artists that have played Music from Stanley include: Cary Judd, Travis and Ali Ward, Darren Smith, Korby Lenker, Finn Riggins, Matt Hopper, Kris Doty, Douglas Cameron, Jeremiah James, Rosalie Sorrels, Weinland, Tift Merritt, Laura Gibson, Nick Jaina and Josh Ritter. Some weekends in Stanley should be on your docket during summer. You can hear some great tunes while you go for a swim in the lake if you are so inclined. ..
