I love chelonia; in other words tortoises, turtles, terrapins etc. I have two Iberian tortoises: Bobby and Chela, two Russian tortoises: Shelly and Sheldon and one Long Necked Turtle called Audrey. Other interests inlude: Jewellary, especially diamond jewellary, so if you have any to offload you know where to come; gadgets, swimming, dancing, singing, playing piano ,surfing the web, 60s/70s/80s and collecting Trend scratch n sniff stickers from the 1980s with my son. Oh and that reminds me, I also like to buy junk off ebay.Music

Threads is the ultimate, it's the most horrific movie ever made because it could happen. Made in documentary style, this adds to the realism of the whole thing. The film is a bit dated now, having been made in 84 but still just as powerful as it was back then. Somebody on youtube has made this which includes clips from the film: ......>Television

About me:
Slightly crazy, well-travelled not-so-well-heeled Essex girl (Essex is a place in England, my dear). Has yet to make her mark on the world but will do when her novel comes out (just you wait). I also sing. I grew up in Essex got out when I was 18 and headed west to London town. Got into all kinds of trouble but managed to get a degree in the meantime as well which was a miracle but I think my tutor took pity on me...Made up for it when I went to Goldsmiths College, University of London and got a masters degree in radio production. Got married in 1997 and moved to Rotherhithe, gobbing distance from Tower Bridge. Brought up our son their until 2002 when he was on the verge of going to school at the local zoo (what we call bad schools in London), so we left London to rot in its own juice and came to the UAE. These days London doesnt seem quite so bad as long as you keep your nose clean, so I'm planning on returning home as soon as I can. I've met quite a few of them already: PADDY MCALOON who was aloof but I think I caught him on a bad day THOMAS DOLBY was also aloof when I met him (is it me???!!) MAMA CASS, KEITH MOON, MARC BOLAN and MICKEY FINN if they were still alive. CHRISTOPHER ECCLESTON, yummy.... He's the best Doctor Who yet- sexy and slightly psycho.
