Melodramas combine spook-rock and theatrical pop to create a genre-busting, robo-riffing celebration of noise. In 2010, the four-piece were selected by Tiger Beer to represent 'the West in the East'. The experience has seen the band break new territories and play huge concerts in China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Kuwait and Australia. Closer to home, The New York Dolls and Taylor Hawkins (Foo Fighters) have both chosen Melodramas as main support on tour in the UK. The band have started 2011 by recording their début album with Sam Williams (Supergrass, Plan B, The Noisettes), with Gaz Coombes (Supergrass) providing backing vocals on 'Betelgeuse'. -
