The sun was shining the crowd was singing and the hair on the back of our necks are still standing... a pure joy". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------(Emergenza world final review - Taubertal festival.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------McGoozer are fronted by fantastic vocalist McGoo, whose has performed extensively nationally and internationally with many high profile artists including singing with Mike and the Mechanics supporting Phil Collins on his world tour performing in front of audiences of up to 74 thousand. You might also recognise his voice from the McDonalds "I'm lovin' it" advertisement campaign.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- McGoozer combine beautiful soaring melodies with raw rock energy and the use of the cello as a second lead "voice" creates a dynamic sound all of their own. Their live performances leave nothing to the imagination.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Walk Run Fly-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Each Nashville visit has seemed like a whirlwind of so much stuff happening in a very short space of time and the last visit was no different.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Last September saw the return visit to Nashville to record a new CD. Billy Block had set up the session and managed to bring in some phenomenal musicians and producers. Both Gary Nicholson and Randy Kohrs are Grammy award winning producers and have definately took the recordings to a whole new level. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We did the Drums, Bass, Guitars, Keys and Lead vocals out in Nashville in Randy Kohrs studio which was a wicked few days and managed to squeeze in a gig at 12th and Porter, a guided visit round the Country Music Hall of fame (Thanks to Randy) and my first NFL game cheering the Tenesee Titans on to victory, from up in the VIP lounge, (Thanks to Billy)---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Then came back and recorded the Strings and backing vocals in London. The first experience I’ve had of recording the same tracks between 2 continents. Pretty cool.
