About me:
The chances are that since you're here, you already know something about me, but if you don't and you've found yourself here by a quirk of either fate, curiosity or low-level stalking, permit me to introduce myself...

I'm a stand up comedian and have been for a good few years now, doing gigs in all manner of places around the UK and performing three hour-long stand-up shows at the Edinburgh festival in that time. I produce regular monthly podcast called Mark Allen's Spraffcast and I've also written comedy scripts for radio, tv and short film. Bully for me.

Anyway, thanks for coming to my MySpace page. If you fancy having a look at my website, it houses all manner of other stuff and you're very welcome to peep, delve and rummage through it at your leisure. Here it is:

Happy Birthday Mate! I've had two months of 30 and it's been treating me pretty well so far. Have a great day. Your funk has been a good soulmate on the Madrid underground.

Mob Logic was brilliant at the Good Ship. Really enjoyed it, as did everyone else by the looks/sounds of it. Hope it goes well tonight and in Edinburgh. Have fun muchacho...

hello there, thought you might like to know you can pre-order 'In The Twee Small Hours' now.

if you pre-order you get a lovely bonus homemade C15 cassette with three non-album songs on it. it's wrapped in brown paper and string, which is inherently good. and you get your album before it's in the shops, just like a cool kid.

You know, the funny thing is that I too was thinking of our alcohol marinated memories the other day. The main difference being that I was not at work as you were. Rather, I was mounting a young Vietnamese boy in a mud pit in Cambodia. I had a head full of powdered boar bones, a fistful of ripped-out hair, a mouthful of cookies, a new brand on my back with the words: I am a man of honor. And I was being cheered on by the entire ruling government of the Cambodian Unified School District. Don't ask.

Love to you. I miss the hell out of you.
