Bio:

The moniker was chosen when a friend spoke of a native american family she knew whose son was named MANYFINGERS..as a "one-man band"-esque project it seemed appropriate.. The first official MANYFINGERS release was a self-titled album that would have not even made it to the light of day without the help of the MOTEER RECORDS. Released in 2004 I still do not understand why it's classed as a mini-album.. Up until that point I was part of a Bristol band called Movietone playing an assortment of instruments, homemade or otherwise, on the albums "The Blossom Filled Streets" and "The Sand and The Stars"..both released on Domino Records. The only other solo release prior to that was the track "i just want someone to know this is me", which is downloadable from this page. The second album "OUR WORN SHADOW" was released on 6/6/06 on ACUARELA RECORDS and is accompanied by a live DVD of some of the tracks being performed at the legendary CUBE Cinema in Bristol. Also contributed, in some form or another, to Matt Elliott's albums..an honour as THE THIRD EYE FOUNDATION was a huge inspiration..and also currently play in "post-rock" (???!!) band SOEZA. Other contributions include appearing on Chris (HOOD) Adams debut release as BRACKEN (anticon). New tracks to come when i get my act together... ..
