Madsic Bio

Madsic has accumulated quite a list of accomplishments over their 7 year history.

Their songs have been on five compilation CDs. Buried In Skin was included on Downline Record’s New Rock Nation Compilation CD, and Tremor was on the Best Of The Best In The Northwest Comp CD. In 2006, Distance Of Hate appeared on the Sonic Onslaught Vol. 2 Compilation CD along with bands such as Soil, Mushroomhead, Powerman 5000, Vanilla Ice, and Sworn Enemy. Our song Distance Of Hate also was featured as first track on Vitruvian Records’ Florida Brutal Backhand Compilation CD. Outside Myself was included on Vitruvian Records’ SWFL Music Scene Compilation CD.
In 2009, they performed at Lollapalooza’s Locofest South 2009 with such great bands as Mudvayne, Nonpoint, and Hed PE.

No strangers to interviews, including a two page interview by Rag Magazine, an interview on Metalkast Radio out of Minnesota and Raven’s Eggs and Kegs show out of Colorado. They were also interviewed online through Hollywood Music TV in Canada.

Also, a CD Review for their Prison Of Hate CD by Gas Chamber Records, and Madsic interviews were done by Is This Music Magazine in Scotland, Fueled-Magazine, and Death Metal Baboon.com. Also interviewed by Los Angeles Examiner, Amp Magazine, and a live online radio interview by Infernal Rock Radio in Australia.

Already in 2011, they were interviewed by Hot Ass Interviews by Stacey which will appear in Rock Thiz Magazine in February.

Their video for Distance Of Hate, which was #1 on MySpace Charts for all Unsigned Metal bands in the world for three months, is climbing the charts on the listing for ALL METAL BANDS (SIGNED INCLUDED) topping out at #8 so far.

At this moment they are writing and recording their next CD, and seeking a record label and management to help with planning an East coast Tour and a U.S. tour.

Madsic was formed in late 2003, shortly after storming into the local music scene, bringing with them sounds with touches of metal, hardcore, and industrial blended with darkness and showmanship. .. This band's influences include such bands as Slipknot, Chimaira, Machine Head, Soulfly, and Hatebreed. .. .. Madsic has accumulated quite a list of accomplishments over it's 7 year history. .. .. In 2004, we won second place at Ragfest 3 beating out over 25 bands. Rag Magazine did a two page interview on us in December 2004. .. .. In 2005, 2 Madsic tunes were included on a BMX Video from BMXvideo.net., an interview at Mega Metal Online, our song Buried In Skin was included on Downline Record's New Rock Nation Compilation CD, and our tune Tremor was on the Best Of The Best In The Northwest Comp CD. .. .. In 2008, an online contest called Metal Cage Fight 2008 done by MetalEvolution.net, decided by fan votes, was won by Madsic and we were dubbed by the station "Masters Of Metal 2008".Also more radio airplay in 2008 included regular rotation and an interview on Caya Radio, airplay on NVasion Radio, Break Thru Radio, the Psycho Realms Show on WMNF 88.5 FM in Tampa, and Dark Cloud Radio.net. Also, our song Distance Of Hate was featured as first track on Vitruvian Records' Florida Brutal Backhand Compilation CD .. ..
