The Seventh Python

About me...
I transcribe for fun and money and make animations for fun and rarely money. For even less money I've run neilinnes.org with my pal Laurie for over 10 years. ....
Music
Anything by the Spinal Tap & South Park guys, Cat Stevens, Neil Innes, Musical Soundtracks (limited to those my parents had on 8 track tape); Monkees, Beatles, 70s & 80s one hit wonders & pop trash; basically anything a 9 year old from 1974 would like. Queen is good too.
Movies
My favorite movie is Natural Born Killers though I'm not sure why because normally I hate that kind of movie. I used to be a big Rocky Horror Picture Show geek back in the glory days. All Christopher Guest movies, Mindwalk, Harold & Maude, Phantom of the Paradise. Monty Python movies.
Television
For learnin': Free Speech TV, Link TV, 60 Minutes, Democracy Now, Charlie Rose, Rachel Maddow, Keith Olbermann (though I think his ego has almost completely crowded out his brain), Frontline, more documentaries. To keep me from killing myself after watching all that: Daily Show, Colbert Report, South Park, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, Venture Brothers, Kids in the Hall, SNL, and I'm always watching one idiot reality show just so I can feel superior to beautiful people.
Books
Nonfiction politics, sociology, history, philosophy; INPUT!
Heroes
Robert Anton Wilson, Cornel West, Robert Fisk, Amy Goodman, Chris Hedges, Lewis Lapham, Eugenie Scott, Michio Kaku, John Lennon, Matt Stone, Trey Parker, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, and most of all my son Robbie.

Idol theme by Rhett & Link
These guys took a rejected American Idol contestant's exit rant and made a song out of it. Then I made an animation to it.

One of the rare
things I got paid for; Taking a drawing a spectator made at the first basketball game and bringing it to life, demonstrating how the game evolved when they realized they had to arc the ball. Not sure how long it took for them to think to cut a hole in the basket so the janitor could go home.
Who I'd like to meet:
I didn't make this (obviously) but holy christ is it beautiful.

Dear Constituent:
Please be informed that G. Wood/Undercover Bonobos have posted a new song entitled "Seeds" on their Myspace music player. We strongly advise that you review this material carefully. Your commentary is welcomed.
Analysis: We have been informed that this song sounds like a Communist Collective work song. We are further advised that it may be misconstrued as a treatise on the cultivation of illegal herbage. We are cautioned that some listeners may experience a shift in psychological set and setting during the "psychedelic" interlude. Please report any activity of this nature forthwith.
This song may be intended and interpreted as a tribute to the late, great, Sky Saxon.
We gratefully anticipate your thoughts on this matter.
