  • Jon Windle ex Little Man Tate Album Release Date 18/10/10

    Hi guys,

    As you may or may not have heard, I have decided to venture back out into the musical world with a solo album.

    After grafting away in various studios for the last 6 months I now have a record that I am really happy with, so I thought it was time to get it out there and see what you guys think.

    I've attached a link to the title track to give you an idea of what its all about.

    Hello folks!

    After the breakup of Little Man Tate in October 2009 I never imagined I'd be writing anything like this, but after the opportunity arose for me to write and record some songs and to get out playing again all the buzz and excitement I felt in the days of LMT came flooding back and I couldn't wait to get started!

    My debut solo album is now in the can and I am sorting out the release date, and I have a couple of live shows booked as well;

    London Borderline 22nd of October
    Sheffield Plug 23rd of October

    In the meantime why dont you pop over to www.myspace.com/jonwindlemusic or to www.jonwindle.co.uk, have a listen and join in as I dive off the musical sobriety wagon and enjoy doing something I love.

        Its been a while now since the dreaded news of the LMT split. I'm still not over it!!!! Even my kids are still asking for sexy in latin and Boothys to be played every time we get in the car. What can I say, we love ya, miss ya and pray you get back together soon....but for now hope you are all doing what makes you happy.

        man i loved your band i searched everywere for jons tattoo but finally got it done yeyyyyy last gig was amazing and i was stood outside and saw jon windle and wen he walked away i cried my eyes out i was that chuffftt how sad....... u r amazing wat a loss

  • Final show SOLD OUT, Friday gig added.

    Hello again, we certainly weren't expecting to have to send this email out !

     

    We can't believe the response we've had since we announced the "split" last Monday. It's been really humbling to know that so many people out there have got in touch with us to wish us luck for the future and thanked us for the memories so cheers for that! Amazingly, the Saturday night gig ( The Final Gig ) at the 02 has sold out so we thought we'd give those who haven't bought tickets yet, the chance to. We will now also play a gig on Friday 2nd October, two nights to say bye bye, and then that's the lot !

        bad news ! but i will be there as ive been booked for it ,but didnt know what its was untill now! it will be a sad occassion but will be good to be fixing and setting the legendry guitars for the last time.
        see you there chaps.
