Hello Kirsten, I hope all is well with yourself.  I've been meaning to come over here and say hello.  You have a fascinating site here and your singing is beautiful!  I've just looked at your other site, Bring In The Spirit, and it's wonderful.  We must chat about traditional Scottish things...All the best, Lori x

Hiyaa Kirsten...It's really nice to hear from you - long time no see, hear or anything.  Yup Stonehouse's new place is just tickety-boo.  Hope to catch you live sooner rather than later.
    Have fun.

About me:

Described by the Evening Times as having, “…a God given voice that knocks you sideways.”, Kirsten Easdale has toured, and performed at major international Festivals and events, and on T.V. and radio, worldwide. She has supported artists like Shane McGowan and Donnie Munroe, and appeared on stage with Donovan, as well as recording on over 15 albums, including 4 with top Celtic band “Calasaig” on the Lazy Mist label. “…Easdale’s songs…will have you reaching for the replay button” The Herald. She recorded a solo release “Be Not Afraid” for REL Records and appears on several of their highly successful Scottish compilations, such as “Scotland United In One Voice”, “The Flowers of Scotland” and “Highland Cathedral”. Celtic World magazine said of her solo album, “A voice to die for, pure enunciation, clarity of tone and the ability to squeeze the last drop out of every note – sheer undiluted magic.” Kirsten features heavily on Linn Records 12 volume “The Complete Songs of Robert Burns”, and has the distinction of singing the longest song in the series, “O I Forbid You”, of which Lars Nilsson of ‘The Greenman Review’ says, “The word breathtaking has never been more in place.” Kirsten has also produced concerts, shows and organised gigs & tours for traditional music artists and has given workshops for RSAMD outreach programme, The Arts Factory and Goderich Celtic College. Her own agency ‘Glasgow World Music’ provided musicians for clients including Visit Scotland “Glasgow – Scotland With Style” campaign in Philadelphia, USA, and The Piping Centre, Glasgow. Production work includes West Dunbartonshire Council’s “Songs of Robert Burns” Denny Civic Theatre and a concert series in Glasgow called "Trad In The city". Kirsten is a member of Scottish traditional collective "Bring In The Spirit", alongside traditional musicians Rod Paterson, Gregor Lowrey, Marc Duff and Pete Clark.
