    Karla has coached a vast amount of artists in the last 8 years and is an active singer, songwriter and session vocalist in the industry. She began her music career as a singer in a soul covers band and then swiftly moved to London to pursue a performance-based degree at university. From being a singer herself she understands first-hand, what is required in artists of today and dedicates her time to coaching artists in development and artists who are managed and signed. Karla prides herself on the close relationships she builds with artists and is well known for building confidence within a singer, which she feels is an important part of their progress, "Personality is so important in a performer and it's my aim to pull that out of every artist I work with, I always manage it somehow through both the voice and live performance!" Karla was involved in the coaching of UK No.1 Artist Pixie Lott ("Mama Do") signed to Mercury Records and also JB from JLS of the X-Factor 2008 show now signed to Epic Records and who has had a string of No.1 singles. She also coached Singer Sean Mac who is signed to SonyBMG, Marina from Marina and the Diamonds and has worked on the management side of the industry at Roar Global with the likes of Jamelia, Myleene Klass and Platinum selling artists, NDubz. Aside from coaching, at present Karla also works with the team at Marshall Arts who manage and promote worldwide tours for artists such as P!NK, Lionel Richie, Elton John, Lemar, Paul McCartney and many more. She has coached artists at the Major Music Artist Academy in London, has regular requests from management companies to coach their artists and teaches privately on a weekly basis. Karla is more well known for her work in the commercial world of music and also teaches songwriting as well as singing. With numerous recording projects and gigs along with her coaching Karla is in the midst of it all! As an singer/songwriter herself she has Supported U.S/UK signed artist Ross Copperman, has numerous years of recording experience and session work and still gigs and sings backing vocals for several bands. Various tracks co-written by Karla have featured on National and Regional Radio and more recently she has had a song published on an album for top 10 selling South African band, Jamali (Winners of Coca-Cola Popstars).
