Announcing The Battle Studies 2010 Winter Tour!
ANNOUNCING THE BATTLE STUDIES TOUR
We're excited to finally announce that John Mayer will kick off a North American tour in support of his upcoming release, Battle Studies, beginning February 8th in Charleston, SC and feature special guest, Michael Franti & Spearhead.
Tickets for the majority of dates are planned to go on sale to the general public on Nov. 21, with an American Express card member pre-sale window from Nov. 16-20.
Fans who pre-order Battle Studies now through November 10th on johnmayer.com will access their own exclusive tour pre-sale before tickets are available anywhere else. Further information for on sale dates to be released soon.
FUSE TO BROADCAST OVERSEAS TO TROOPS
Kicking off release week, we’re thrilled to announce today that “Fuse Presents: John Mayer Live From the Beacon Theatre,” will now be broadcast overseas to U.S. troops and their families by AFN, The American Forces Network, to reach those stationed in 175 countries and on 140 U.S. Navy ships at sea. Additionally, AFN Television’s “Spectrum” channel will air the concert on December 6, 2009 at 8pm and on New Year’s Eve.
PRIVATE CONCERT FOR FANS POST DAVID LETTERMAN
In addition to an intimate performance of his current single, "Who Says" on the Today Show on Thursday, November 19, John will sit-in with Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra before performing as The Late Show with David Letterman’s musical guest. After the taping, we’ll be inviting a small group of fans to come join us for a post-show concert, which will stream live on Letterman’s site and remain online through the beginning of the Battle Studies Tour. Good short interview. I liked what you said about your song "Who Says", about coming home and thinking "Wow! I had a really good time tonight, what am I worried about?" Not being so hard on ourselves is very important. Most of us are TOO much. I know I am. Thanks for giving us the chance to "stop and listen to the music" and maybe smell the roses at the same time. ?
